Is quality lost?
JPG is saved at quality 92 and WEBP at 90, which is visually the same as the original. PNG, TIFF and BMP lose nothing at all.

How long is the file kept?
An hour after the job finishes, then it is deleted. The row stays in History so you can run it again.
