What plays, and what does not
Platform links
YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and Streamable are handed to their own embedded player, so the video is served by the platform and not by us.
Direct files
A link ending in .mp4, .webm or .ogv goes straight to the browser's own video element. MP4 plays everywhere; WebM and OGV depend on the browser.
Vertical video
A Reel or a TikTok gets a tall frame instead of black bars down both sides.
When it will not play
A private post, a login-only account, or a platform your network blocks. The embed is loaded by your browser, so a block on your side is not something this page can work around.
If you want to keep the video instead
Watching and keeping are different jobs. This page streams and saves nothing. When you want the file, use the downloaders or paste the link on the front page.
